This review is from: Solid Ivory 550 Thread Count Olympic Queen size Sheet Set 100 % Egyptian Cotton 4pc Bed Sheet set (Deep Pocket) By sheetsnthings I purchased an 'expanded queen' Sleep Number bed a number of years ago and always thought that I needed to purchase the sheets through them because of the nontraditional size, but I have recently discovered that the 'expanded queen' translates to 'olympic queen' and I can buy the sheets from others. These sheets came very soft out of the package - nearly like satin, but because they had a distasteful smell, I washed them before putting them on the bed. There was no smell left (good), but the softness disappeared and they are now somewhat rough. I will update this review again, if after additional washings, they return to a more soft set.
