When I received them, there was a tear and a hole already in the sheets. Furthermore, the pillow cases and sheets all had strings coming off all over them (count 12+). Every week at sheet changing time I could look forward to at least one broken or snagged finger nail - even when I could cajole my husband into helping me put the sheet on the bed.However, with this set the bottom sheet went on sooooo easy all I could think when I was done was, "WOW". I also love that the top sheet is over sized too so it also fits well on the thick mattress. There is actually enough top sheet to tuck in properly! I have also noticed that the sheets do not "creep"... not sure how to explain it, but the bottom sheet stays put on the bed even with active sleepers. They looked and felt ok, but very thin, so I have to believe they are single ply thread. They fit the bed very nicely.. but after washing them 3 times, I find they are pilling up and uncomfortable due to this fact. I found that Amazon is helpful with either replacing them or just refund. I chose to refund them, no point in replacing them with the same problem.I own 3 sets of Sealy Best Fit sheets due to extra thick mattresses and find them to be a much better value. They are more expensive, but well worth it.. no pilling probs with them after more than a year of use. |
