I had a flimsy shower liner I picked up from the bulls eye major store for over $10. That shower liner was so thin that when you turned on the water it flew into you and you could not get it to stay away (the thin liner). It (old shower liner) had the suction cups even but if it is too light it does not matter, it is going to blow all around. I was on the search for a clear one that would actually stay in place. I ordered the clear one a few months back and immediately upon receiving it noticed the weight of the liner. It is heavy but not too heavy. Heavy enough to stay in place! I noticed it did not have the suction cups at the bottom and usually prefer those. However in this case the liner is heavy enough the suction cups are not needed.
